Volunteers

Volunteering is a great way to help Raising Special Kids. Whether you have a few hours a week or a few hours a month, we invite you to share your time and talents!

Raising Special Kids offers volunteer opportunities to fit the needs of everyone. Below are a few of the many ways you can help.

Committee Member
Committee members steer the organization in delivering its mission. It’s a great role for community leaders who want to lead the way to building stronger families.

Event/Fundraising planning and assistance
Special Events help Raising Special Kids by raising money and generating good will. Help advance our mission by volunteering to help us plan and execute these important activities.

Language Interpreters /Translators
Families who need Raising Special Kids have diverse needs. We need volunteers who can translate documents from English into Spanish, Vietnamese, Navajo and Hopi. We also need volunteers who are proficient in American Sign Language.

Office Help
Like any other business, Raising Special Kids has many daily tasks that volunteers can help with. We can always use extra hands preparing mailings and educational materials. We also have opportunities for people who are experts at social media applications.

Professional Services
The donation of professional services goes a long way to help our bottom line. Are you a graphic designer with some free time? Does your company have an in-house print shop or recording studio? Are you a photographer or videographer who can help with print advertising and commercials? By donating your expertise, you’ll help Raising Special Kids reach more families in need.

Public Speaking, Advocacy and Promotion
If you love Raising Special Kids and give a good speech, you can spread the word about our work at events and community activities.
