How can your gift help?

We can all understand, some of us firsthand, the feelings that parents experience when learning their child is diagnosed with a serious condition. Along with confusion, fear and grief, everything a parent previously imagined for their child, and for their future, comes into question.Raising Special Kids provides families with the help they need to navigate this new world full of uncertainty. Our assistance, advice and training help parents understand their child’s needs, how to effectively advocate for their child and achieve the best possible outcomes for their future.

Currently, we can reach only about 7,000 of the more than 100,000 families raising children with significant disabilities in Arizona each year. Reduced public funding at the state and federal level is further threatening the existence of vital programs.

To help more families Raising Special Kids must expand current programs, and launch new support services, training opportunities, and collaborations. We need your help.

As a nonprofit organization, Raising Special Kids depends on charitable contributions.  We hope that you will donate to our annual fund through our secure online system or by printing and mailing in a commitment form. Given the tremendous need for our services, your generous support will help us address the growing needs of families and children. A donation of $25 can help so much.
