Parent Involvement Survey for Parents of Children in Special Education

Parents: Have you completed the Parent Involvement Survey? The confidential survey is an opportunity to express your opinion about involvement in your child’s special education program. Each year selected public education agencies (PEAs)—school districts and charter schools—are required to administer the survey. PEAs are chosen based on the year in which they are monitored by the Arizona Department of Education, Exceptional Student Services (ADE/ESS). For a list of selected school districts and charter schools visit www.azed.gov/special-education/deputy-associate-superintendent/arizona-parent-involvement-survey. Ask your child’s teacher, or the special education director, for instructions and a confidential user code/password to complete the survey before June 30th.
